I’m Woody — a global brand strategist and marketing leader with 15+ years of experience shaping brands that deliver consistent performance through cultural provocation. Born and raised in New York City, I’ve called it home ever since, aside from four years at Franklin & Marshall playing lacrosse. In my teens, I had a short-lived career as a model (yes, Abercrombie, and no, the dream didn’t last). By my 20s, I realized what I really loved wasn’t standing in front of brands, but building them — shaping how they show up strategically and culturally.
For the past 15+ years, I’ve done exactly that: helping companies at inflection points — from scrappy startups and billion-dollar IPOs to established global names — find their cultural edge and commercial momentum. I’ve built global brand strategies, led 360 campaigns, integrated performance and brand marketing, and scaled businesses into multi-billion-dollar valuations. I’m equal parts strategist and operator: I love cracking the big idea, but also making sure the funnel, the data, and the creative all line up to deliver results.
Along the way, I’ve had the chance to:
Create brand storytelling with growth marketing, analytics, and measurement to drive impact.
Lead campaigns and platforms that redefined categories (tech, DTC, luxury, cannabis, hospitality, and more).
Build and manage cross-functional global teams across the U.S. and Europe.
Partner with founders, CEOs, and CMOs to scale brands through critical moments — from launch to IPO and beyond.
Outside of work, I’ve been married to my fabulous wife, Britaania, for eight years (together for twelve), and we have a son, Stellan, and a Mini Aussie named Penelope. Most weekends you’ll find us in Central Park, trying to tire out both the toddler and the dog. Every summer, I escape to Flathead Lake in Montana — a tradition since I was a kid, and one of the best ways I’ve found to recharge and stay grounded. I’m a lifelong Knicks, Rangers, and Giants fan, which means resilience comes with the territory. And in case you’ve ever wondered about my name: Stephen Sondheim was my godfather, and he dedicated Into the Woods to my parents and me. That’s how Woody stuck — and I’ve been chasing good stories ever since.
